Resume:

  Su Lijun was born in December 1976 and currently is a professor in Geotechnical Engineering at the Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment (IMHE), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees in Civil Engineering at the Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2000 and 2002, respectively. In 2006, he obtained his Ph.D degree in Geotecnical Engineering at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Following that, he joined in the Xi'an University of Architecture & Technology as an associate professor. He worked in the department of Civil, Mining and Environmental Engineering at the University of Wollongong in Australia as a resaerch fellow from 2008 to 2011.In 2012, he started his work at IMHE and was inclueded in the program in 2013. He has broad research interests in geotechnical engineering, including constitutive modeling of geomaterials, numerical analysis of geotechnical problems, laboratory and physical model tests, mechanism of mountain hazards and application of geophysical methods in geotechnical engineering and etc. Currently he is undertaking 3 national research projects including a 973 project. He has published more than 50 journal and conference papers so far.
