Resume:
    Received Bachelor degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at Southwest Jiaotong University in 1997, and Master degree in Cartography and Geographic Information System and Ph.D degree in Physical Geography at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2003 and 2007, respectively. He once worked in Department of Geographical Sciences, at University of Maryland, College Park in USA, as a research fellow from 2005 to 2006, and 2008 to 2010. Since 2010, he was the full professor of Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, as the outstanding overseas talents of elected fellow of Chinese Academy of Sciences . His main research interests focus on mountain remote sensing and digital mountain, including ecological modeling, mountain surface process modeling, bio-physical parameters retrieving, multi-sources data assimilation, remote sensing images pre-processing and spatio-temporal-spectral fusion, and digital mountain application such as ecological environment assessment, biodiversity conservation, mountain disaster risk assessment and emergency response investigation. Currently he is undertaking 4 national research projects, has published more than 150 peer-reviewed journal papers and 4 monograph so far.
